All individuals, groups, or organizations who are interested in conducting an event, class, or meeting at the Library should submit the Library’s online Program Proposal Form.
All programs must be free and open to the public.
Reservations of meeting rooms may be made two months in advance. If your request is less than 14 days away, please call the library during open hours to reserve. Use is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Use of the meeting rooms may be limited to once per month for each group, due to limited meeting room space.
All information must be of general interest to the intended audience and applicable to situations that do not require purchasing a specific product, enrolling in a specific fee-based program, or subscribing to a particular set of opinions/beliefs.
Promotion of events is coordinated by the Library; all materials to be used by a co-sponsoring body must be approved by the Library before the scheduled event.
Use of Library spaces is only available during the Library’s regular hours of operation. Meetings and programs should be adjourned at least 15 minutes before the Library closes unless arrangements have been made with Library staff.
Chairs and tables are available for use. Unless programs are co-sponsored by the Library, organizations are responsible for their own setup and cleanup, and ensuring that furniture is returned to its original location.
The Library is not responsible for equipment or materials owned by outside organizations.
Each group is responsible for ensuring that attendance at its meeting does not exceed the maximum occupancy for the meeting room.
The Main Library Auditorium is reserved for Library, City and public events and meetings that have a minimum attendance of 75 people. The auditorium may be reserved a minimum of one month in advance at a maximum of 4 hours per event.
