Teen Author Breakfast and Workshop with Lamar Giles

On Thursday, June 21st from 10:00am -12:30pm, teens ages 12-18 are invited to join author Lamar Giles for breakfast and a writing workshop at Six Points Innovation Center (6PIC).

Giles is an Edgar Award nominated author and a founding member of the We Need Diverse Books organization. He writes short stories and novels for teens and adults and his titles include Endangered, Fake ID, and his newest book, Overturned.

This event is sponsored by Richmond Public Library’s Black Male Emergent Reader (BMER) committee, The DELTA House Foundation, Inc.,¬†and 6PIC. Registration encouraged but not required.
