All libraries will be closed Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The Main Library will be closed on Saturday, November 16th for the Richmond Marathon.

Our genealogy resources, both print and digital, can be used to find information about your family or ancestors. Although our materials are focused mainly on Richmond, we have collections that span the state of Virginia. Richmond Room staff is happy to help with navigating our genealogical collections during regular business hours or by appointment.
