Nonprofit Support

Library staff can assist patrons with questions and research related to nonprofits, fundraising, governance, and more. Staff is also available for one-on-one appointments to discuss your nonprofit needs. We can provide information on a variety of nonprofit topics, provide examples of governance and policy documents, and assist with referrals to many of the free and low-cost services for nonprofits in the Richmond area.

Programs, Events, and Workshops

The Richmond Room hosts free workshops on a wide variety of topics pertaining to nonprofits. We also partner with local government, community and nonprofit organizations to connect patrons to events, programs and resources throughout Richmond. Please check the calendar for upcoming events.
