Small Business Resources

The Richmond Room, located at our Main Library, has many services, programs, and resources to support small businesses and entrepreneurs. Library staff can assist with questions and research on a variety of business topics. Staff is also available for one-on-one appointments to discuss more in-depth questions. For example, we can provide sample business documents, explain the steps to starting a business, and assist with referrals to many of the free and low-cost services for small businesses in the Richmond area.

Programs, Events, and Workshops

The Richmond Room hosts free workshops on a wide variety of topics pertaining to small businesses. We also partner with agencies such as the Small Business Development Center, the Office of Minority Business Development, and the Office of Community Wealth Building to provide class and workshops to support small businesses. Please check the calendar for upcoming events.
