Joy of Music: Eliot Norman & Friends

Saturday, April 30th, 2:00 PM

Eliot Norman, pianist, plays solo favorites from Bach/Marcello to Chopin and Brahms; teams up on two pianos with Russell Wilson for Mozart; and together they join “The Richmond String Ensemble” to celebrate the sounds and mysteries of the Saint-Saens E-flat Septet (Guest Artist, Harry Wise, Trumpet; Ayca Kartari, double bass, Christina Jennings, cello, Becca Longhenry, viola, Arden Clark and Andrew Certner, violins).

“America on the Road to Freedom” through music of the 20th and 21st centuries by composers Florence Price (1887-1953), Aaron Copland (1900-1990), Janes Erb (1926-2014), John Winn (b. 1971), and Donovan Williiams (b. 2003) presented by Donovan Williiams, violinist/composer and Hope Armstrong Erb, pianist.
